Applies to: All software Ascent Factory develops and publishes — mobile apps, web apps, and browser extensions
Effective date: August 13, 2026 | Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ascent Factory ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information across the software we develop and publish, including mobile apps, web applications, and browser extensions (each, a "Product"). It applies to every Ascent Factory Product that links to it. The specific data any given Product collects depends on its features. Where a Product is distributed through an app store, that store's data-disclosure section (e.g., Google Play Data Safety) reflects exactly what it collects. By using a Product, you agree to this Policy; if you do not agree, do not use it.
Our Products are business tools intended for employees and authorized personnel of organizations that engage our services. They are directed at a general, adult (18+) business audience. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.
The categories below describe information our Products may collect. Not every Product collects every category — each collects only what its functionality requires.
When you register or sign in, we collect your name, work email address, and authentication credentials. If your organization uses single sign-on or a linked identity provider, we receive the account identifier that provider returns. Passwords, where used, are stored only in salted, hashed form.
Some of our Products integrate with business phone systems. For those Products, we ingest call-activity metadata from the phone system your organization authorizes us to connect to. This may include originating and destination phone numbers, call direction (inbound/outbound), timestamps, duration, call status or disposition, and the associated extension, agent, or user. This data describes business communications and may include the phone numbers of the customers or contacts your organization interacts with.
Some of our Products integrate with customer relationship management ("CRM") platforms. Where your organization authorizes a CRM connection, the relevant Product accesses CRM records so it can match them to other activity. This may include contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, company or account names, and related activity or note fields. This data is provided and controlled by your organization; we process it on your organization's behalf.
When you use a Product we automatically collect technical information such as device or browser type, operating-system or browser version, product version, IP address, language settings, and diagnostic and crash logs. This is used to keep the service running securely and to fix problems.
Except where a specific Product's disclosed functionality requires it and you grant the corresponding permission, our Products do not collect precise geolocation, audio or call recordings, microphone input, or camera/photo input, and do not access your personal contacts or messages on your device or browser. No Product uses your data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
The table summarizes categories that may apply across our Products. Whether a category applies, and how, depends on the Product and its store's data-disclosure section where applicable.

| Name, email address | Yes | Account management, authentication | No |
| Authentication credentials | Yes | Account security | No |

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS); account data can be deleted on request (Section 8).
We use the information described above to: authenticate users and secure accounts; provide each Product's core functionality; operate, maintain, and improve our Products; fix technical problems; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising or to build profiles for unrelated purposes.
Where a Product relies on third-party services (such as cloud hosting, or phone-system or CRM connections your organization authorizes), those providers process data solely to deliver the service to us under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Any third-party SDKs or services a Product uses are disclosed where that Product is distributed (e.g., its Google Play Data Safety section). We do not sell or rent personal information, and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
For CRM, phone-system, and similar organization data, your organization is the controller and we act as processor/service provider under our agreement. For account and device data required to run a Product, we act as controller. Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our contract, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, and, where required, consent.
We disclose information only in these limited circumstances: to service providers (such as cloud hosting) acting on our behalf under contract; to the platforms your organization has connected; when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or Ascent Factory; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to affected organizations.
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and thereafter only as required to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. Organization-owned data is retained according to your organization's configuration and instructions. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing hello@ascentfactory.com. We process verified requests within a reasonable period. Certain records may be retained where legally required or necessary to resolve disputes.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where supported, access controls, and least-privilege access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any incident in accordance with applicable law.
We may process and store information in countries other than where you reside, taking steps to ensure an adequate level of protection under applicable law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because much of the data we process belongs to your organization, we may direct certain requests to it as the controller. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@ascentfactory.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Our Products are not intended for children and are not directed to a child audience (including under Google Play's Families policy). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of our Products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
